I created this website to let others find me and share ideas about topics I care about such as real estate, class mobility, Latin America, company building, living a meaningful life, and family.
I am new to writing online but I believe in the power of putting ideas out into the world.
These days, I am the Chief of Staff for one of the largest real estate developers and contractors in Colombia. This adventure came about after having spent the previous 10 years abroad in Switzerland, San Francisco, and Boston. I decided that I wanted to be closer to my family, surrounded by a culture I love, and working in an industry that I missed. I“d like to keep a foothold in the US but have yet to crack the mystery of being in two places at once, so if you know something about this lets chat!
At work, I have a carte-blanche to choose the projects I work on. These are some of the things I am highly involved with:
In a previous life, I was a management consultant at The Boston Consulting Group, an onsite MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, & Plumbing) engineer for a Mormon temple in Paris, and a Kitchen Manager for one of Stanford“s dormitories.
I was previously enrolled in David Perrell“s Write of Passage writing course. This website is part of my goal of becoming a better communicator.
One research project that keeps me up at night is the upskilling of blue collar workers as an instrument for class mobility! I hope this website acts as a collection of thoughts on how to upskill others effectively and understand why our current education system fails to do so.
In my free time, I think about entrepreneurship in Latin America, the future of construction, family values, generational wealth, travel destinations, and angel investing.
